Introduction

What are the basic training exercises you need to do?

The importance of pre-race training and other competition/"BIG-day" preparation cannot be underestimated. Eventually, when the DAY comes along, we are as fit as we can possibly be. My experience has shown me many times over, that the fitter and stronger you are the more you will enjoy your race day / "BIG-day" and most importantly, get to the end of the day feeling fantastic and high fiving those around you! Now who doesn’t want that??

My belief is that whole body fitness is what makes the difference. Of course our arms and shoulders have to be in tip top shape, as they are the ones doing most of the work. But don’t discount your lower body! Your legs, back and core are working just as hard. Getting that car in the front line requires a strong BODY. So make sure you have overall strength and conditioning before commencing your driving experience.

At the same time, we have to make sure our cardio fitness is at its best. Everyone has a different starting points, so this is why we build up slowly until we are ready to tackle some heavier weights or more difficult exercises. That is why I’ve put together some basic training exercises designed to get you Started.

By following the program for as little as 6 weeks, you will be able to see a huge transformation in your life and body.
